Cheap Monday
The Cheap Monday philosophy is simple, an unwashed stretch denim jean at a great price point, for men and for women.
The Cheap Monday store began in Nov 2000 when friends Orjan and Adam opened a second hand clothing store ‘Weekend’ in the Stockholm suburbs, which only traded Sat/Sun. As it became more and more popular it was relocated to the city and traded every day of the week, aptly renamed ‘Weekday’. Both Adam and Orjan felt the need to bolster their collections on offer with a cheap and fashionable denim line. While they were impressed and influenced by supreme high end denim brands the Swedish duo felt style and quality need not be compromised by lower price points.
In 2004 Cheap Monday was born, named after he poorest day of the week when most have blown their cash on the weekends.
Cheap Monday is now a successful international brand, sitting alongside high end brands and competing with them both in attitude and quality. The characteristic skull logo is a cult icon and adorned with love on the back of every pair.
